We are getting specific notes of spiced apple, peach, and honeydew melon that are supported by a honeyed sweetness. Accenting this dynamic profile is a symphony of floral aromatics. Especially as the cup cools, notes of lavender, jasmine, and white tea increase in distinction.
The Ethiopia Bensa is from the same distinct zone as the Shantawene in Ethiopia. The difference here is the particular washing station that the coffee is coming from. The complexity and diversity of the flavor profile in the Bensa can be seen as an amalgamation of the best that the Bensa district has to offer.
